DarkMoney is a personal money-tracking tool created for private record-keeping. It allows users to capture simple information such as names, amounts, reasons for payments, and — optionally — their own bank account numbers for the purpose of receiving deposits from others. The app does not collect or request ID numbers, card details, or other sensitive banking information such as CVV codes or passwords.

⚠️ DarkMoney is currently in active development and testing. Features may change, data may be reset or deleted at any time, and system performance may vary. Users should not rely on this app for permanent storage or official financial records during this testing phase.

Users who choose to record or display a bank account number do so voluntarily and at their own discretion. Account numbers are stored as plain text solely for record-keeping and are never used to process or facilitate payments. The developer does not verify, encrypt, or share such account details beyond the authenticated user’s account, except as required by law.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including user authentication, Row-Level Security, and secure data storage through Supabase — are in place to protect your information. However, no online platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using this app, you acknowledge that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. The developer cannot be held responsible for any loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure of data beyond their reasonable control.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit, for keeping their login credentials confidential, and for ensuring that any account numbers or data belonging to third parties are entered only with proper consent. Users must not upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, and agree to use DarkMoney solely in a lawful, personal capacity.

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), data is processed only for the purpose of record-keeping within this app. All information is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud service provider that applies strong industry-standard security practices. Information is not sold, shared, or transferred to any third party except as required by law. Users may request deletion of their data or raise any privacy-related concerns at 0909ulrich@gmail.com.

DarkMoney is not a financial institution and does not process or facilitate payments. It is intended solely as a personal record-keeping tool and should not be relied upon for accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of these terms.
